Come browse the work of Austin’s Dr. Sketchy collective! So many talented artists have sketched so many beautiful ladies (and a few gents) in our sessions. Now is your chance to see what has come of it all. On Saturday October 6, 2007 at 7:00pm the Austin Figurative Gallery is hosting an open show for all Sketchy artists. The AFS Gallery is located at 301 Chicon.

Over a dozen artists have submitted their timed sketches from our past events.

This month, we are welcoming Trevor Middleton of the Yuppie Pricks to the stage!

Your male model will be posing in all his sportswear and business glory and he will have his naughty secretary in tow!

Bring your bonfires, your vanities and your bone-colored business cards to Elysium as we pay homage to the human form, the stock market, and yuppies. Appropriate attire required/provided.

Don’t forget your thirst and your art supplies!!

Expect a great soundtrack from our DJ’s as we celebrate the 80′s. Prepare yourself for some crazy contests and our ever popular prizes.
