Hello all! Due to an unscheduled trip to Argentina (surprise birthday present), I will have to reschedule the next full session of Dr. Sketchy for April 19th from 5-8pm at the Art Authority Building.
Until then, please feel free to join us for burlesque, live music, cupcakes and scantily clad figure models at the Special SXSW Dr. Sketchy. We are partnering with Doryan’s (your new MC) Event to combine many of our loves. Come on down to taste the cupcakes, watch the ladies, hear some tunes and sketch some amazing figures.

I attended this event and I am soooo glad that I drove up here to do just that! The atmosphere was wonderful, from the fleshy eye candy, to the variety of unique and scrumptious cupcakes:) Something extra sweet though, meeting Miss Molly Crabapple completely unexpectedly. She is my favorite artist and it was an honor to get to sit and sketch by her.:) She was the icing on the cake!
When & where is the next sketching meetup? Couldn’t make it this time, but I should be able to the next time around (long as it’s a bit after April 15th, for obvious reasons).
