Sassy Delure – Burlesque Model – June 11th

Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School presents… Sassy Delure!

The versatile vixen full of sass, class and a whole lotta pizazz! Known for her high kicks, cat eyed glamour, and creative choreography, Sassy is an artistic visionary that brings a spicy mix to any stage she graces.

Dr. Sketchy’s is proud to welcome Sassy Delure, who played our Reverse Mermaid for our SXSW show, back to the stage for your drawing pleasure. Sassy is known for her creative, colorful costumes, so bring your drawing supplies and prepare for an eyeful!

Dr. Sketchy’s is what happens when cabaret meets art school.

Dr. Sketchy’s is a life drawing class turned cabaret extravaganza. Artists draw glamorous underground performers, compete in contests, and win booze and prizes. From its humble Brooklyn beginnings, it’s spread to 100 cities on five continents- including London, Rome, Tokyo, Paris, Sao Paulo and Melbourne.

Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School – the premiere alternative drawing movement in Austin – features costumed live models, prizes and booze! All kinds of artists are welcome, from the complete amateur to the advanced. Open to everybody! You’re a terrible artist? Who cares! Don’t forget to bring your own drawing materials.

The Austin branch of Dr. Sketchy’s is run by Amelia Raley, and emceed by Nathan Black.

June 11th, 2011 from 7-10pm at Elysium (7th and Red River)
